The Harrogate Triathlon is based at Ashville College, one of North Yorkshire’s premier secondary schools. The site is perfect for both athletes and spectators with viewing opportunities for all 3 disciplines of each event.
The swim takes place in the sport centre swimming pool. Start times will be dependent on your estimated 400m time. GOTRI swimmers will be first in the water, with waves taking place throughout the morning. The final swimmers will be those who entered the fastest swim times.
The bike course takes in the very best of North Yorkshire’s finest villages and countryside. This undulating route passes through Beckwithshaw and Burn Bridge with some stunning views throughout. GOTRI athletes will do 1 loop of the 12km course. Sprint athletes will do 2 loops.
The run takes place on the periphery of the Ashville College grounds with a finishing funnel right in centre of the school’s sports facilities.
